ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival after finalizing the immigration formalities, you shall be welcomed by your Tanzania Voyages guide, who will then drive you to your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, you may do any optional activities in Arusha. Overnight at Malkia Trees Lodge.
Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up and start a journey to Serengeti National Park, driving time approximately 6-7 hour. On the way you will stop the Ngorongoro crater view point and proceed with your journey to the endless plains of Serengeti with your picnic lunch. Enjoy the late afternoon game drive while heading to the camp. Full board accommodation at Nyota Luxury Camp.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Today you will have a full day game drive with picnic lunch at Central Serengeti for a chance to spot big cats resting on the kopjes, large herds of elephant and buffalo scattered around Seronera Valley. Game viewing in this part of Serengeti is spectacular all year-round. You may even spot Big 5 animals in a day depending on the game drive and weather. Full board accommodation at Nyota Luxury Camp.
Day 4: Hot Air Balloon - Serengeti National Park
Rise up early in the morning for the sunrise hot air balloon experience in the Central Serengeti. After champagne breakfast you will meet your guide and proceed with the game drive. Enjoy the hot lunch at the camp and short siesta before heading out for another sunset game drive. Full board accommodation at Nyota Luxury Camp.
Day 5: Central – Southern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will start your day by exploring the different part of Southern Serengeti National park. Southern Serengeti or Ndutu region is part of Serengeti eco-system where the great migration spend more time here for breeding and mating before starting their long journey to the Western Serengeti end of April. There is a big number of resident animals such as elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, hyena, cheetah, leopard and pride of lions can be seen around big and small marsh areas and Masek acacia woodlands. You will get a chance to drive up-close to the lake Ndutu which is alkaline water for the pink flamingos and other wading birds. Overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge.
Day 6: Southern Serengeti – Arusha
On this last day of safari, enjoy your leisurely breakfast at the lodge followed by a morning game drive on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will stop at transit picnic site located on the crater rim for the lunch then proceed to Arusha for overnight or drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your home departure flight.
