West Kilimanjaro (Sinya) is a private concession and a great choice for those who looking for something different and unique, in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, near the Kenyan border. The area offers excellent game viewing and is home to a Maasai community.

It is one of Tanzania’s least explored safari destinations. The region comprises acacia woodland and open plains that support a remarkable variety of wildlife and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Home to large bull elephants living permanently in the area, together with the herd of females and calves migrating between Sinya and Amboseli National Park in Kenya including the acacia woodlands on the other side of the border up to the forests of Kilimanjaro in search of food and water, with an immense variety of wild animals including zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, giraffe, eland, lesser kudu, oryx, and some few predators, the area is also home to 400 different species of birds.

Sinya is within Enduimet Wildlife Management Area, it is the ideal place to start your safari just to warm up your Tanzania safari.
