Your journey at a glance
This 7-day green season safari is a perfect getaway during the wet months of Tanzania: November, December, April, and May. During this time, the wildlife is abundant with newborns, the verdant lands bloom, and the crowds thin. This period of the year is less dusty and cheaper than peak seasons, showcasing rolling green plains, flowering plants, and brilliant birdlife. The short rains entice elephants, flamingos, as well as migrating does and their newly born calves, along with the rivers of Tarangire, the lake at Manyara, Ngorongoro’s crater, and the calving grounds in southern Serengeti. This itinerary will provide you with breathtaking views, remarkable wildlife that will stay with you forever, and rich, open, private parks with your mid-range or semi-luxury stays and game drives— all at an amazing value.
