Raymond has guided for many of the big name companies,( even guided for the BBC when they were shooting a documentary) and now has his own business in Arusha, Tanzania. My sister and I decided to give him a try and boy, did we ever hit the jackpot! Raymond is an excellent guide, easy to travel with, tireless in his desire to spot the animals you want to see. It’s clear that he loves what he does. We were a little unsure about going with a small, lesser known company, but are very glad we did. Raymond handled everything extremely professionally. From planning, booking, payment, and of course the trip itself. We saw more than we ever dreamed we would see. Three rhinos ( one was a baby), endless elephants, giraffes, lions, even a leopard eating a kill in a tree. Saw a serval cat kill and eat a snake, found ourselves right in the middle of the great migration, saw lions sleeping in a tree and hunting on the plains, cheetahs, hippos, birds galore…it was fantastic! I had the chance to visit kenya over 30 years ago with my folks. It had always been my favorite trip….until this one. We saw a lot in Kenya, but it was nothing compared to what Raymond was able to show us. Our trip to Kenya was a packaged tour where we went with a group. We went out in the morning and the afternoon for a couple of hours each time. It was fun, but an entirely different experience than going with Raymond. Raymond took my sister and I out all day, everyday for as long as we wanted. They say your guide makes your safari, and having done it a couple of different ways, I agree. Raymond made sure out trip was phenomenal. Planning a safari can be overwhelming and it’s tempting to book a package with a well known company, but we got so much more by booking with Raymond. Raymond offers a private safari at a variety of price pints. We found we were able toget much more for our money by booking direct. Booking with a local company also ensures that all of the money stays in the community, and Raymond also contributes a portion of each trip to support local charities. When we were booking, there weren’t many reviews available yet. Absolutely amazing experiences of a lifetime multi- times Raymond and TVoyages absolutely amazing! My family went w co. 4 summers and Raymond is multi-lingual and best spotter who caters to family needs! As a truly boutique and designer co., each time it surpassed animal viewing, comradely, and fun! As a traveler in Africa for 38 years Tanzania V is top-notch, customer focused, best out of the BEST ever! As a world traveler I would always use TV! The best guide in Tanzania! Ray was our guide on the family trip we did on September 22. He was an excellent guide who made our experience better and more fascinating. Trip of a lifetime with Tanzania Voyages Safari!!! We had an amazing trip with Tanzania Voyages Safari! Highly recommended! We went for our honeymoon, and it lived up to everything we wanted it to be. It really was the trip of a lifetime. Ray is an awesome guide, he is super knowledgeable and a great person. He found us all the big cats we were looking for and even managed to find us some smaller cats as well. We saw multiple serval cats during our time with Ray, so cool. Another thing we loved about our safari with Ray was how well he understood the wildlife and photography. He always had us in the right position to get some unbelievable photos and always knew when to move into a better spot. I owe all of the photo credit from our trip to him. The ultimate Serengeti experience! I loved everything about my Serengeti experience. Aside, from the animals, Raymond our tour guide was highly knowledgeable and showed us the upmost hospitality. One in a lifetime experience ! It was purely amazing . Not only Raymond and the cook who was with us were putting our needs first, they were super knowledgeable about everything and taught us so much . Tarantire, Serengeti , and ngonrogoro crater for a week and we keep talking about it so often ! The tents were just perfect, the food and equipment too and we had the jeep for ourselves. We traveled more than 40 countries each and this safari vacation with Raymond is one of our absolute favorite vacation ever. Safe, reliable, and educational adventure for the whole family My travel agent in Narobi always uses this company in Tanzania and now I can see why! Raymond is an excellent driver and guide. We spent over 10 days with him all over North Tanzania from the Serengeti to Kilimanjaro. In the mornings, the car was always clean, safe and ready to go. There was a huge cooler filled with water and soda and lots of USB chargers in the car. During the animal safaris, Raymond knew all the animals trees and birds, as he’s been doing this for decades. Told us so many great stories about different animals, and how they live and what they eat, it was so educational for the whole family. He always accommodated our special request when we wanted to stop at certain souvenir stores or find a local restaurant, he always happily found the best places for us. Everything went smoothly in our itineraries and we got to see everything we wanted to on schedule. During the trip, it was my birthday and his wife cooked me a yummy cake as well.Raymond was always happy, smiling and happy to help us however he could which is not easy traveling with a whole family including teenage boys I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable, safe and educational trip to Tanzania. Tanzania safari! Our trip with Raymond, Tanzania Voyages was beyond amazing!!!! We saw 3 rhinos, a cerval cat and a leopard! We didn’t just see the wildebeest migration, we were in it with wildebeest all around us! Raymond saw to everything we needed ! Everything was perfectly planned!
