Go on a 6-day safari through Northern Tanzania. The adventure kicks off in Tarangire N.P. which features ancient baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. Then spend 3 days game driving in the endless plains of the Serengeti. Experience the unique geography of the Ngorongoro Crater which is home to the Big 5. One of the highlights of this trip is taking a guided walking safari on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This trip includes a unique combo of unmatched wildlife viewing and authentic exploration. The adventure starts and ends in Arusha.

Day 1

ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Your adventure begins this morning! After breakfast, depart Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, famously known as the “Elephant’s Paradise.” The park is renowned for its massive herds of elephants and majestic, ancient Baobab trees. Embark on a game drive to explore the diverse landscapes, from the Tarangire River to the southern swamps. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, buffaloes, and giraffes. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the bush before heading to your camp for the evening.

Day 2

Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on an unforgettable Kilimanjaro day hike tour. It is a unique adventure that immerses you in the majesty of Africa‘s highest summit. The tour will take a 5 – 7 hour hike through the rainforest to the 1 st point, the Mandara Hut (2700m,) where you will have a well-earned rest and picnic lunch. Your guide will then take you on a short walk to Maundi Crater, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding rainforest, Mawenzi, and Kibo peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. This day hike does not require technical climbing skills, with a moderate level of fitness, and the assistance of our expert guides, your hike is going to be an unforgettable experience. Once you have thoroughly enjoyed the views, you will return to the Marangu Gate (2-3 hours walking distance). Your vehicle will be waiting for your transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park (Full Day)

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush. Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive across the vast Serengeti. Your guide will take you to the best vantage points to see lions stalking prey, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and leopards resting in the kopjes (rock formations). Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park and continue your exploration until the golden light of late afternoon.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park (Full Day)

Enjoy another immersive day in the Serengeti. With a flexible schedule, you can focus on specific areas of the park you haven’t seen yet or return to hotspots for better photography opportunities. Whether tracking a pride of lions or watching hippos in the pools, every moment offers a new discovery. Return to camp in the evening to relax by the campfire and share stories of the day’s sightings.

Day 5

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start your day with a final morning game drive in the Serengeti as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the changing scenery as you ascend from the plains into the lush highlands. You will arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time to relax and take in the spectacular views before dinner.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater – Maasai Boma – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive. This “Garden of Eden” boasts the highest density of wildlife in Africa, offering the best chance to spot the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend the crater rim and visit a traditional Maasai Boma to experience the rich culture of the Maasai people. Finally, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
